Exciting new features added to FC 25 career mode
FC 25 Career Mode features big steps forward in terms of realism and engagement. FC IQ
This system enhances tactical depth by allowing you to create a squad that fits your selected Team Playstyle. It includes pre-match analysis of your opponent’s tactics, influenced by their real-world manager’s style. The FC IQ Tactical overhaul allows for more realistic and flexible tactics, similar to Football Manager. Player roles and tactical familiarity are now key aspects. Arguably one of the biggest FC 25 Career Mode features.
FC IQ modernizes team positioning and tactics, allowing you to emulate real-world managerial styles and make in-game tactical adjustments more intuitively. You can create and implement specific tactical setups for your team, defined by Player Roles and playstyles. This allows for more strategic control over how your team plays on the pitch.
FC 25 Career Mode features Icons
Manager Career Mode: You can add icons to your squad, allowing you to manage and play with some of the greatest footballers of all time.
Player Career Mode: You can start your career as an icon, taking control of legendary players like Thierry Henry, Andrea Pirlo, Ruud van Nistelrooy, and Kelly Smith. Additionally, if you pre-order the game, you get immediate access to icons like David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, and R9 Ronaldo.
Youth Teams and Rush Mode
Youth development has been revamped with the introduction of Rush mode, which is essentially street soccer rules. This mode is used for training sessions and helps you get more involved with your youth squad. Instead of traditional drills, youth players now develop through these 5v5 Rush matches, making their growth more interactive and engaging. Rush is the new mode across EAFC and definitely worth playing.
Expanded Scouting Network
You can now scout in over 150 countries, giving you a much broader pool of talent to discover. Scouts can be instructed to look for up to four specific positions and three focus roles, allowing for more targeted searches. The new FC IQ integration helps scouts identify players who fit specific tactical roles, enhancing the overall tactical depth of your team.
Live Start Points and snapshots
This feature allows you to start your career at any point during the 2024/2025 season, reflecting real-world standings, player stats, injuries, and more. Snapshots capture pivotal moments of the season, enabling you to take over a team during critical junctures.
Women’s Manager Career
For the first time, you can manage teams in five of the top women’s leagues. This mode includes all the features of the Men’s Manager Career, plus unique challenges specific to women’s football.
Game Customization
More control over your sliders to adjust gameplay realism, transfer negotiations, and more. Choose simulation for a more realistic slower gameplay experience. Even control weather conditions such as wind.
