Your chance to win Ultimate team coins

Apologies we tried but EA have let us down once again and ruined the tournament. First it was down on PS3 Sunday and EA didn’t respond for 4 hours before saying was a problem. Then with 1 hour notice they have taken Ultimate team down Monday saying maintenance all day. So the tournament is cancelled. We did try and might just do a giveaway between all followers. Really annoyed at EA at the moment!

As now nearing FIFA14 Ultimate team we have decided to have a fun tournament where you can win coins. Prize will be 600k coins on both xbox and ps3. Anyone following us on twitter can enter including youtubers and Pro players. This is a competition any of you could win by playing FIFA against us. First off you need to be following us @fifaaddiction .Then below in the comments simply add your twitter name and the times you can play saying Xbox or PS3 Sat 24th Sun 25th and Mon 26th Aug (this weekend). DON’T worry if your comment doesn’t appear straight away it will be there and appear it goes through a checking process. Please use UK time and give a 3 hour maximum time slot of when you are available to play. Time slot you provide has to be between 9am in morning and 12am that night. You can provide 3 time slots one for each day. Sounds complicated but isn’t as the example below shows.

Saturday 13:00 – 16:00 (don’t forget that is UK time so if in US etc please work it out from whatever time it is where you are)
Sunday 09:00 – 10:00 (also we said 3 hours maximum, if only available for 1 hour or two then say)
Monday 14:00 – 16:00

If you are only available 1 day just put the timeslot for that day.

So what is the tournament how do we win?

Round 1 is crossbar challenge.
We will arrange to play people based on timeslots. We play a game of Ultimate team! Any team you like and add online guests if you want. During the game you need to hit the crossbar from outside the box to be through to the finals. Simple as that. Games are recorded to be part of a video so our decision is final as we can watch replays to be sure. We will not be containing and as an extra twist we will be trying to hit your crossbar from outside the box to end your chance (the game finishes and you are out if we hit your crossbar first). You can contain however grr.

Any of the people who hit the crossbar during round 1 progress to the finals. We will inform people on twitter after Monday and add the list here. As it is quite difficult we think only a few of you will progress. If only 1 person for each console hits the crossbar in all the games they will win the 600k coins! If nobody hits it we will think of a new tournament maybe and it will be open for everyone to join again.
