What are the Road to the Knockout cards in FIFA 22?
Road to the Knockout cards are a selection of players playing in Europe chosen by EA. All of the chosen cards as shown below in the tracker have an initial higher rated card than their original FIFA card. For example Vidal below has an 81 rated gold card. His RTTK card starts at 85 and can go up to an 86 just by Inter qualifying or winning 3 games in the group stages. Three types of RTTK cards, representing each of the European competitions.
Champions League – UEFA’s premier club competition. Featuring European giants such as Real Madrid, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Juventus and last years winners Chelsea.
Group stage teams 32.
Europa League – UEFA’s second tier club competition. Featuring clubs such as Napoli, PSV, Bayer Leverkusen, Marseille and West Ham.

Europa Conference League – UEFA’s new 3rd tier club competition. Featuring clubs such as AS Roma, Tottenham, Feyenoord, FC Basel and Rennes.

Nearly 40 players to look out for. Some of the key players are Son, De Jong, Werner, Silva, Fekir, Tonali and Lodi. Lots of other decent players in the list.
Road to the Knockouts FAQ
Does a player need to play for their club to earn upgrades?
No even if injured their team will give them the upgrades
What if a player transfers or leaves a club?
They will no longer be eligable for upgrades
What happens if a club is knocked out of the group stages?
They will no longer be eligible for upgrades. Including teams that finish 3rd in UCL and move into Europa league.
How long will the upgrade to players take?
Unfortunately it takes EA a few days to update players with no set time frame.
