FUT13 webapp unavailable

Same as last year EA have let us down with the webapp. Tuesday 18th evening they said. Tho some people were logged into it at 3pm UK time. 6 hours later almost 9pm and many of us still have no access while people are trading. It’s a very big mess from EA once again. Which is a shame as over the last few months we have seen improved communication and what looks like a very good game.

The warning for EA regarding their customers however is that PES2013 is actually a good game now.

So all we can do is complain like last year. Thousands of us moaned last year as the servers couldn’t handle the number of users. This year it seems they have let a certain number on. How they have decided that is not known.

The quote on EA forum was as follows

“Web app goes live on Tuesday 18th September

You will have to keep an eye on Twitter or Facebook on Tuesday evening for when it launches.

Access is available for those who have created a security question between March 7th up to September 12th (so If you’ve played between these dates, you’re in)

You will receive daily gifts until the end of September.

The current web app will go down for maintenance on Monday Sept 17th 9am PT/6pm CET to prepare the Webstart.

And a tweet just after 9pm to say they found an issue with the webapp!!!!! Who on earth does the testing for FIFA at EA?? And why are people on it and been using it for 6 hours?

This is a disgrace EA. With all the money you make especially on UT you could have servers which can handle the demand and also test it well in advance of launch date.

Just to add now 11:20pm UK time, lots of jokes around twitter now as people have just given up. A few people reported it working suddenly and now we have a new Proxy error message ha. Maybe they have the error messages on a rotation?
